C-22 Clay High School Building 4 Roof-Over Construction Contract Award
Issue/Rationale
This project is listed in the 2008/2009 Educational Facilities Plan. The award of a construction project in excess of $25,000.00 requires School Board approval.
The bid opening was held Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. The project had four (4) bidders and all bidders met the bid requirements.
Recommended Action
Award the construction contract to Deep South Systems, the low bidder meeting specifications, the base bid in the amount of $94,220.00.
Financial Impact
The low bidder meeting specifications, Deep South Systems, has a total bid award of $94,222.00. These funds are available and budgeted in the Educational Facilities Plan.
